Board receives police policy manual for 30-day review; no action taken

The North Pike School District board received the district police policy manual for a required 30-day review; no board action was taken at the meeting.

A board presenter said the manual was before trustees for a 30-day review and noted the district’s next meeting falls before school starts. The presenter said the manual had been developed over several months with input from Mr. Collins and Mr. Roberts and that Miss Kaplan is familiar with the document should trustees have questions.

The presenter stated no immediate approval was required and recommended the board review the manual so it can be considered at the board’s next meeting. No substantive discussion, amendments, or public comments on the manual were recorded in the meeting minutes.
