The council packet aligned both the option and the parking lease so Pivus could plan operations; the packet described the proposed parking lease term as 10 years.
Council Member Linda Herold moved to approve the "first amended and restated vacant land lease and memorandum to first amended and restated option to purchase between the City of Wenatchee and Pivus Market Charitable Foundation," and Council Member Euer seconded. Council Member Hornby recused himself from the vote. The motion carried.
The council did not change maintenance responsibilities or other underlying contract terms in this action; staff said the items were intended to give Pivus longer-term certainty for operations and potential future ownership options.
