Board adopts Hamilton County 911 plan update; police department announces parking enforcement start date and response-time average

The Delhi Township Board of Trustees adopted Resolution 2025-70 to approve the final Hamilton County 9-1-1 plan; the resolution was presented as required under the Ohio Revised Code (staff said the plan update replaces a 1985 document). The board declared an emergency and dispensed with a second reading before voting to approve the plan.

Police Chief Braun provided department updates: he reminded the public that the township's parking-lot ordinance adopted April 30 will be enforceable beginning June 2, and he announced the department's plan to launch a Citizens Police Academy in September. Chief Braun also reported that the department's average response time so far this year is 4.8 minutes.

During the presentation of the 9-1-1 plan resolution, trustees moved to dispense with the second reading and then adopted the resolution by roll-call vote.
