County selects vendor for box culverts; deliveries expected June–August

Henry County highway staff on May 28 recommended purchasing precast concrete box culverts from Civilcon for a drainage replacement project and the commissioners approved the purchase by voice vote.

Roads staff said they received two competitive quotes; a third supplier declined to quote. Highway staff recommended the lower bid from Civilcon and indicated the company can supply culverts on a timely basis.
