The St. Cloud Public School District Board of Education on June 4 approved eight executive contracts for the 2025–26 school year, acting on a personnel committee recommendation based on the superintendent’s proposal.
Natalie Copeland, chair of the personnel negotiations committee, told the board the committee recommends approval of eight contracts: four executives new to their positions and four continuing executives. “Four of the executives out of the 8 are new to their positions for the 25–26 year,” Copeland said.
The committee recommended a change requested by the board to move a 3% performance pay provision out of the contract and into base salary for transparency. For continuing executives, the committee proposed a 2% salary increase for 2025–26. All contracts approved are one‑year agreements; the committee and Copeland said the 2026–27 contracts will be addressed during the upcoming bargaining period for all employee groups.
A motion to approve the contracts was made and seconded; the board voted unanimously to adopt the 2025–26 executive contracts as presented.
The vote authorized the superintendent to implement the contracts consistent with the board’s direction; no changes to board policy were adopted as part of the approval.
