Committee files Teamsters Local 294 memorandum of agreement for sheriff's employees; union has signed MOA

The Personnel Administration & Higher Education Committee received a memorandum of agreement (MOA) between Warren County and Teamsters Local 294 covering bargaining‑unit employees in the sheriff's department for a term retroactive to Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2028. County staff said the agreement had been signed by the union and required board action to finalize county approval.

County labor staff presented the MOA and the committee moved the item to the floor for board consideration; the motion carried by voice vote. No substantive terms of the MOA were detailed during the committee presentation in the meeting record.

Action: The committee voted to present the signed MOA to the full board of supervisors for signature.

What changed: The signed MOA is ready for full board action; the terms were not read into the record at the committee meeting and will be administered by county human resources and the sheriff's department upon final approval.
