Saratoga County authorizes three-year Microsoft Exchange agreement with Software Housing International under NY OGS contract

Saratoga County’s Buildings and Grounds Committee authorized a three-year agreement with Software Housing International to provide Microsoft Exchange hosting and email services under a New York State Office of General Services contract.

Irene, an information-technology staff member, told the committee the county’s Microsoft Enterprise program is expiring on June 30, 2025, and that the county’s reseller this year has been awarded to Software Housing International rather than Dell. The change follows procurement via the New York State OGS contract vehicle, she said.

The committee voted to authorize the agreement for a three-year term for hosting and email services. The chair called the vote, “Aye,” and announced the motion carries.
