Walworth County committee members on June 2 publicly acknowledged the county's mobility manager had completed the Certified Mobility Manager coursework and presentation.
The staff member said the certificate required 24 courses: six in professional skills development, eight in professional information, six in management skills and four electives. The final three courses and a 45-minute presentation with questions and answers were completed at a recent conference in Kenosha.
Committee members praised the accomplishment and noted the mobility manager conferences and networking provide operational insights and peer problem-solving that can be applied locally. The committee did not take formal action; members congratulated the staffer and noted the training supports ongoing efforts to improve service operations and efficiency.
