Somers Point approves Cintas contract to install and maintain AEDs at recreation facilities

The Somers Point City Council authorized a contract with Cintas Corporation to install and maintain automated external defibrillators (AEDs) at the city’s recreation facilities.

Council members said the devices will be placed in each recreation facility so staff and volunteers have quick access in an emergency; members emphasized that rapid access and training can be critical at athletic fields and other public venues.
