Manufacturing company donates $109,000 in equipment to district career program; board suggests public presentation

Board members at the July 10 work session acknowledged a donation from Track Machine Tools of equipment valued at approximately $109,000 to the district’s career and technical programs. Administrators said the donation will expand hands‑on opportunities for students in related CTE pathways.

Board members discussed ways to recognize the donor and promote the gift. One member proposed a formal presentation, inviting a company representative and local media when the equipment is installed; another suggested a thank-you letter from the board president. An administrator said Kurt (district CTE lead) would arrange the installation and indicated the media could be invited once equipment delivery and setup are complete.

No formal vote was recorded; board members expressed unanimous support for public recognition and thanked the donor for the contribution.
