The Watertown Common Council adopted two planning-related ordinances on July 15 during their second readings.
Ordinance 25-13 amends chapter 545 (subdivision of land) with changes to several sections including 545-14(a), 545-42(c) and related subsections. Alderman Blankey moved Ordinance 25-13 on second reading; it was seconded by Alderman Wetzel and passed with recorded aye votes from council members present.
Ordinance 25-14 amends chapter 550 (the zoning code) through changes to section 550-150 and related language. Alderman Bilenke moved Ordinance 25-14 on second reading; Alderman Moldenhauer seconded and the ordinance carried on recorded aye votes.
Both ordinances were sponsored by the planning commission and come after committee review; the meeting transcript records unanimous support on the second readings. The ordinances will follow the city's prescribed ordinance-adoption process for enactment.
