John, speaking for Odins restaurant, said the restaurant has maintained a steady operating rhythm over the past 30 days despite summer humidity and that management expects business to dip slightly in August. He said the restaurant continues a music schedule, with about five bands in the month and upcoming acts on Friday and Saturday.
"I feel like the restaurant is in a good rhythm for the last 30 days...we've consistently had a music schedule. I think we've had 5 bands this month," John said, adding that Odins serves as the on-site food-and-beverage partner for golf-related activities and outings.
John asked golfers and event hosts to coordinate with Odins if they plan course activities: he said the restaurant expects to be engaged for golf-related events and urged event organizers to give Odins the chance to serve attendees. Staff confirmed the entertainment schedule is posted on the restaurant section of the Oak Hills website, and acknowledged email blasts may not have gone out consistently.
No decisions or policy changes were made. The restaurant reported ongoing plans for lighting and awning alternatives; venue staff are awaiting electrician estimates for a sign on Phillips Street and plan to install low-maintenance sunscreen screens in place of heavy awnings.
Community impact: Restaurant operations affect on-site hospitality for golfers and program participants; management coordination with course staff was encouraged.
