Maddie McAllister, public information officer, said in an OC Minute update that Threadgill Place between Harley Strickland and Saxon has reopened to vehicles, but sidewalk work will continue and crews may be present for several weeks. "As you can see behind me traffic is freely flowing. The road is officially reopened," McAllister said. She added: "We do have some sidewalk work that will continue. So over the next few weeks you may see some crews working on this area." McAllister also said the road projects had been "impacted by Hurricane Milton" and that the city appreciated residents' patience during repairs. "The road will remain open and we're super excited to finally get everyone back to their normal traffic pattern," she said. Officials asked residents to monitor OC Minute updates for further information about pedestrian impacts and the schedule for completing sidewalk work.
