Commissioners schedule site visit to reexamine hospital employee parking and electrical use

Carter County commissioners instructed staff to reexamine the hospital employee parking area and building electrical usage following an agenda report. Staff will attempt to reach Daryl Messer Smith for information and perform a physical measurement of parking spaces to inform potential concrete-bid quantities.

What was discussed: Commissioners asked whether a survey or official measurement was required. Staff said existing 100-foot tapes could be used and proposed a site visit at a low-activity time (night or Sunday afternoon) to mark parking stalls and determine how much concrete would be needed.
