Board adopts City of Kokomo transit Title VI program for submission to FTA

The City of Kokomo’s Board of Public Works and Safety adopted the transit Title VI program for submission to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) on July 2, 2025, as requested by Tammy Korn, executive director of the Kokomo Howard County Governmental Coordinating Council (KHCGCC).

Korn presented the program memorandum and requested the board’s adoption so the city could submit the program to the FTA via the KHCGCC. "This memo is to request the city of Kokomo's Board of Public Works and Safety adopt the city of Kokomo transit's Title 6 program, to be submitted to FTA, via the Kokomo Howard County Governmental Coordinating Council," Korn said.

A board member moved to approve the transit Title VI program and, after a second, the chair called for ayes; the motion carried. The board did not discuss program details during the public portion of the meeting and no public comments were recorded.
