Board approves compliance agreement with Orion Farms to repair damaged airport gate

The board approved a compliance agreement with Orion Farms (tenant/operator) to repair a damaged rolling gate after Orion Farms’ equipment struck and bent the gate. Staff said the tenant has hired a contractor to repair or replace the gate and that city legal has reviewed the compliance agreement.

Under the agreement, staff will inspect the repaired gate and issue a release of liability once the airport is satisfied with the work. Staff said the release would be a separate document returned to the board after inspection. The board approved the compliance agreement on a roll call vote (Bruce Shriner — yes; Amy Latimer — yes; Tom Schauff — yes).
