County to post farm lease and continue iBid vehicle sales; sheriff's cars among items advertised

Amanda said the farm lease bid will be posted in the paper next week and that field equipment listings approved by the full board are on iBid until Aug. 7. She said two older sheriff’s vehicles are posted locally for sale and that the remaining decommissioned vehicles are being held at a dealer (Sierra Motor) pending sale. "They're going pretty good on iBid," she said, adding that staff will share results once bids close.
Discussion and next steps: staff will post the farm lease notice, continue the iBid vehicle and equipment sales and provide bid returns to the committee once auction windows close. No formal board action was taken at the July 25 meeting.
