Commission authorizes chair to sign Phillips 66 letter of no objection for Main Crossing

Miami County commissioners authorized the chair to sign a letter of no objection with Phillips 66 that allows county contractors to work within the company's easement at the Forest Main Crossing in Bussard. The vote was unanimous. The item was presented as part of the action agenda. Staff said the agreement is part of Phillips 66's permitting process for high-pressure lines west of Plum Road along 220 Third Street and is a necessary step for the county's sewer installation work. County staff said Kirk Ridgeway and engineer Abby Mills reviewed the agreement and described it as "standard fare" for Phillips 66. Commissioner Vaughn moved to approve; Commissioner Dideker seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
