Commission signs KDOC FY'25 outcome reports for adult and juvenile community corrections

Angie Eads of the Sixth Judicial District Community Corrections presented the KDOC FY'25 year-end outcome reports for the adult comprehensive plan and the juvenile comprehensive plan and asked the commission to authorize the chair to sign both reports. Eads said staff used evidence-based practices and EPICS (Effective Practices in Community Supervision) tools, emphasized behavioral-analysis supervision, and worked to apply a 4-to-1 positive-reinforcement ratio with clients. She said the EPICS skill-building training is an 18-month program that began in January and that some training activities will carry into FY26. Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the reports and authorize the chair to sign.
