Representatives of Climb Wyoming described a partnership MOU with the district and thanked the board for approving an agreement for the workforce-training nonprofit to deliver services to low-income single parents in Campbell County.
A Climb Wyoming spokesperson told trustees the nonprofit achieves a 96% graduation rate, helps participants secure higher-paying jobs with benefits, and provides wraparound support services (childcare planning, budgeting and job-readiness coaching). The speaker said this site is the first in the state to partner with the district under the program.
Board members expressed interest in a fuller presentation to the trustees in the fall to review program outcomes, employer partnerships and potential roles in supporting district staffing pipelines.
Climb Wyoming and district staff said they will coordinate a fall presentation to share program details and metrics.
