Logansport accepts June community development report showing 144 permits and $7,941 in deposits

The Logansport Board of Public Works and Safety on July 30 accepted the Community Development Department’s monthly report for June, which staff said included $7,941 in total deposits and 144 permits issued.
Rob, a community development staff member, reported a permit breakdown that the department presented as: 17 electrician licenses, 3 sign permits, 46 building permits, 1 change of occupancy, 23 contractor registrations, 51 yard-sale permits and 3 additional electrical permits, for a total of 144 permits and $7,941 in deposits for June.
The board voted to accept the report; Deputy Mayor Jacob Palmasol and Board Member Levi Jones recorded yes votes. No further action was taken on the report.
The board requested that staff continue routine reporting on permitting activity and revenues.
