Teton County approves probation services MOU with Madison County

The board approved a fiscal‑year agreement under which Madison County will provide probation services and related support while Teton County’s newly hired probation director completes training. The contract covers short‑term operational support and cost reimbursement for services already provided; Madison County had already invoiced the county and the agreement formally authorizes payment and the arrangement.

Deputy staff and commissioners praised Madison County staff for helping Teton County cover immediate needs while the local probation office transitions staffing. The motion passed unanimously.

The signed agreement authorizes county staff to process invoice payments and continues a cooperative relationship for probation services in the near term.
