Commission corrects lot-coverage language, adopts zoning amendment Ordinance 2025-07

The commission adopted Ordinance 2025-07, a zoning code amendment, after Growth Management staff requested a text correction to change a dimensional table entry from "minimum lot coverage 50%" to "maximum lot coverage 50%."

Autumn Coachella of Growth Management identified the typographical/legal error in the proposed dimensional and area standards and asked the commission to adopt the ordinance with the correction. The commission moved and approved the ordinance with the corrected language; the item was a second-reading public hearing and no member of the public had asked to speak.

The corrected ordinance amends Chapter 23 — zoning, land use and development regulations — updating dimensional standards for affected zoning categories as reflected in the ordinance text.
