Finance Committee approves July minutes and routine claims; treasurer’s claims reported

The Finance Committee on Aug. 11, 2025, approved minutes from its July 21 meeting and approved board member vouchers and treasurer’s claims after motions from committee members.

The committee recorded motions to approve minutes and vouchers: the minutes approval was moved by Tina and seconded by Vice Chairman Jerry; board member vouchers were moved by Vice Chairman Jerry and seconded by Tina. Later, a motion to approve the treasurer’s claims was made by Tina and seconded by James K. Riley; the committee voice-voted the motions and the ayes prevailed.

During the meeting the chair reported that amounts approved by different panels included an amount described by staff as “about $426,000” approved by the finance committee and “about $137,000” approved by the oversight committee, which the chair said totaled “about $563,000” in claims. Transcript audio of some dollar figures was garbled in places; the committee’s formal minutes or accounting records should be consulted for exact totals.

There was no executive session and the meeting adjourned after a motion by James Gay, seconded by Vice Chairman Jerry.
