The Development Review Committee on Aug. 13 discussed a resubmittal for the Lowe Family Warehouse project at 3838 Hogshead Road. Amir, the project manager, said the resubmittal reduces the previously approved building area and that the team has addressed earlier review comments, including a waterline comment associated with a fire hydrant.
Amir told the committee, “I think we only got 1 more comment just to add, revised landscape plans and photometric plans, which we have our teams doing right now.” Community development staff clarified that the applicant does not need substantive revisions to the landscape and photometric materials; staff asked only that those documents be combined into a single PDF so signatures can be captured in one file.
Community development, police, public works, fire and building staff reported no outstanding substantive objections on the resubmittal during the Aug. 13 discussion. Public works and fire confirmed prior technical comments had been addressed. No formal vote or permit issuance occurred at the meeting; staff and the applicant remained available to resolve the remaining administrative filing items.
The project is zoned light industrial with an industrial future land-use designation; staff noted the project location and that the resubmittal primarily concerns a smaller building footprint and finalized landscape/photometric submissions.
