Council approves multiple appointments and reappointments to city boards and commissions

The Rochester City Council on Aug. 5 approved a slate of appointments and reappointments to city boards and commissions.
Councilor Walker, chairing appointments, listed nominees including Robert Longo (Zoning Board of Adjustment, alternate member seat G), Eliza Moyer (Arts and Culture Commission, seat C), Nathan Moyer (Arts and Culture Commission, seat G), Dylan Dow (Conservation Commission, seat D) and several reappointments: Richard Clough (Recreation and Arena Commission), Joe Boudreau (Utility Advisory Board), Brent Johnson (Utility Advisory Board) and Chris Kristen Bonneville (Rochester Economic Development Commission). The committee recommended unanimous votes for the packet.
A motion was made to cease nominations and allow the city clerk to cast a single ballot for all applicants contingent upon completion of oaths of office and required code-of-ethics documentation. The council approved the appointments by roll call vote.
Council members exchanged a brief clarification about the correct spelling of Joe Boudreau's name before the roll call.
