Commissioners reappoint members to Wellness Advisory Committee and Public Safety Coordinating Council

The Tillamook County Board of Commissioners approved multiple reappointments to the Tillamook County Wellness Advisory Committee and reappointed three members to the county’s Public Safety Coordinating Council during its June 25 meeting.

The order for the Wellness Advisory Committee listed numerous reappointments, alternates and several declined reappointments. The motion read into the record named volunteers the board reappointed for three‑year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2025 and expiring Dec. 31, 2027, and identified alternates for several positions. The reading noted that several former members had declined reappointment.

Separately the board reappointed Lieutenant Ani Sehollm (Community Corrections Director, Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office), Matt Nell (Juvenile Department Director) and Valerie Bundy (director of Tides of Change, a local domestic violence and sexual assault agency) to the Public Safety Coordinating Council. Commissioners said the council is a statutory committee the county is required to convene and thanked the appointees for their work.

Both orders were approved by unanimous voice vote. The board emphasized appreciation for volunteer service and stated that members serve at the pleasure of the Tillamook County Board of Commissioners.
