Commissioners approve replacement of cybersecurity grant project director

Maverick County Commissioners Court voted unanimously Feb. 10 to replace Amanda Gonzales with Isaac Reese as project director for the fiscal year 2025 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program, following discussion in executive session. The court returned from executive session at 6:27 p.m. and the presiding officer moved to act on items discussed in closed session, including the staffing change. Commissioner Ramos moved approval; Commissioner Reese seconded, and the court approved the change by unanimous voice vote.
