Board accepts plat dedicating right-of-way for Restaurant Depot site at Allcutt and Orchard

The Village Board on June 25 approved Resolution 2025-518 accepting a plat of dedication from the Restaurant Depot development that dedicates additional right-of-way along Allcutt Road.

Director Aft said the Restaurant Depot distribution center, approved by the village late last year, includes a southern property line that extended to the section line and that the plat of dedication grants 73 feet of right-of-way to accommodate current and potential future intersection improvements. He said EEI prepared the plat and Restaurant Depot ownership approved it.

A trustee moved and seconded approval; the board approved the resolution by roll call and the clerk recorded the measure as carried 6–0. Staff will sign the plat after final administrative steps are completed.

Next steps: staff will execute the plat of dedication once administratively finalized; the recorded right-of-way will provide room for future intersection improvements as described by staff.
