Board authorizes procurement for demolition of Eden Park property

The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board voted to authorize staff to advertise, accept the lowest responsible bid and award a contract for the demolition of Eden Park as specified in the district facilities plan during the 2025-05-01 meeting.

Board materials described the authority sought as procurement and contract award authority under Louisiana public bid law in support of the district’s facilities plan (plan revised through 02/22/2018, as cited in the agenda item).
