Commissioners approve EMS supervisory pay change and four supervisory appointments

Commissioners said the change will streamline payroll and help avoid miscalculations. A motion to approve the pay-form change and to certify the appointment slips passed unanimously. Later on the agenda a separate appointment motion certified Jeremy Knowlton's supervisory appointment; that motion also passed by voice vote.
Commissioners stated the change should have been applied previously and described the approval as a clerical and payroll correction rather than a new compensation policy to expand across other offices. The board did not vote to change supervisory pay for other county offices at this meeting.
