County announces recycling tire cleanup and veterans resource fair dates

County officials announced dates for upcoming community events at the Sept. 11 meeting: a tire recycling cleanup on Sept. 20 and county fall recycling days plus a veterans resource fair in October.

The county's fall recycling days will be Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fairgrounds. The board also noted the third annual resource fair for veterans, families and caregivers will be held Oct. 7; staff provided the dates and locations and said more event details are in the meeting packet.
