Tallmadge adopts patrol and supervisory FOP contracts unanimously

The Tallmadge City Council voted unanimously Thursday to adopt two Fraternal Order of Police collective-bargaining agreements covering patrol officers and the department’s sergeants and lieutenants.

Mayor Mary Kilway told council the final contracts were provided to members before the meeting and reflect terms discussed during a fact-finding process; she urged quick adoption. The patrol contract (Ordinance 20 24-76, Exhibit A) and the supervisory contract (Ordinance 20 24-77, Exhibit A) passed on third reading by roll-call votes of 7 to 0.
