Committee okays isolated stop sign on Lenox Road at Martin Street

The Ordinance Committee on June 30 approved an amendment to the municipal traffic schedule adding an isolated stop sign for eastbound traffic on Lenox Road at the intersection with Martin Street.

Councilors LaFlamme and Arriaga filed the order and the city engineer noted the proposed ordinance was developed in conjunction with Councilor LaFlamme and Councilor Arriaga. Committee members closed public comment and moved to a roll call vote. The item passed 5-0 in committee and will go before the full City Council at its next meeting.

The committee record notes the order amends "chapter 2-60 as amended on 02/21/1995" to list the new isolated stop sign on Lenox Road. No additional traffic studies or staff tasks were requested during committee discussion.
