The Concord-Carlow Regional School Committee on an abbreviated agenda voted to seat Lynette Kelleher as the second Carlisle representative. Brian moved to seat Kelleher, a motion that was seconded and approved by roll call.
Kelleher gave a short introduction, saying she has served as PTO president in Carlisle, helped run Family Connections in Carlisle and has been involved with the schools for about four years. She said she was joining to learn more about Concord before her children attend its schools and noted she was participating from out of town at the time.
The action followed a brief discussion of onboarding logistics. The presiding officer said materials and access to committee Google Drive would be provided, and that other newly appointed members would receive onboarding information over the summer.
The full committee recorded aye votes in roll call for the motion to seat Kelleher and the chair explained where Kelleher will sit in the alphabetical voting order for the rest of the meeting. No substantive debate or amendments accompanied the motion.
The committee concluded the item and moved on to other business, noting that Kelleher would receive orientation materials ahead of future meetings.
