Planning commission forwards Windrose Green Section 6 final plat to council

The Angleton Planning and Zoning Commission voted to forward the final plat for Windrose Green Section 6 to city council after staff reported that city‑engineer comments had been addressed and certified.

Planning staff described Section 6 as a 78‑lot portion of the Windrose Green development, comprising about 15.6 acres. The city engineer reviewed the final plat and certified that required textual changes had been satisfied.

“City engineer did certify, the fact that they've satisfied all of these textual changes for the final plat for section 6,” Mr. Spriggs told the commission. Commissioners confirmed that the lot-size distribution matched the concept plan and the percentages agreed in prior council approvals; staff said the 45‑foot lots are within those agreed percentages.

Commissioner Clark moved to accept staff recommendation and approve the Windrose Green Section 6 final plat subject to final city‑council action; Commissioner Berry seconded. The motion carried on an affirmative vote and the plat will be scheduled for city‑council consideration for final approval.
