The Seminole County Planning and Zoning Commission on Sept. 3 approved the preliminary subdivision plan for Bridal Reserve, a project that will divide roughly 23.07 acres into four residential lots under the county’s A‑5 rural zoning and RU‑5 future land‑use designation.
Annie Silloway, principal planner for Development Services, told the commission the plan proposes four residential lots that meet the minimum lot size of five acres and have a minimum lot width at the building line of 150 feet. The property lies within the county’s rural boundary and will use private wells and septic systems. Access to the parcels will be via a 40‑foot private access easement known as Coffee Trail; the site has no direct access to Lake Geneva Road.
The applicant, Shane Bridal of 675 Coffee Trail, made a brief appearance and told the commission, "It's pretty straightforward, I think." Staff recommended approval, there was no public comment on the item, a commissioner moved to approve the preliminary subdivision plan and the motion passed by voice vote.
Commissioners were not recorded raising substantive conditions or amendments during the discussion. The staff presentation indicated the plan complies with Chapter 35 of the Seminole County Land Development Code.
