Resident urges District 211 to expand boys volleyball opportunities for sophomores

Bennett said his son’s cohort was late to receive opportunities and contrasted District 211’s offerings with neighboring districts.

Bennett said Palatine and Fremd high schools currently offer interscholastic boys volleyball and that “boys interest in volleyball is not being fully accommodated.” He described a local pipeline of students he knows through a Palatine Park District program and asked the district to consider adjustments so sophomores can participate in the same way students in nearby conferences do.
