Bridge City ISD board gives first reading to multiple local policy revisions under TASB Update 125

The Bridge City Independent School District Board of Trustees received a first reading June 16 of multiple LOCAL policy revisions prompted by TASB Policy Services Update 125.
Policies presented as a first reading included BDF(LOCAL) Advisory Committees; BQA(LOCAL) District-level planning and decision-making; BQB(LOCAL) Campus-level planning and decision-making; DBA(LOCAL) Employment requirements and records; DEAA(LOCAL) Compensation plan incentives and stipends; DK(LOCAL) Assignment and schedules; DMA(LOCAL) Professional development; DNA(LOCAL) Performance appraisal of teachers; EB(LOCAL) School year; FDA(LOCAL) Interdistrict transfers; and others listed in the meeting minutes. The minutes note that the policies will be presented for a second reading at a subsequent board meeting.
