Hope High recognized with state alternative-education award; mentor honored

Hope High School was awarded the Texas Association for Alternative Education (TAAE) Best Practices Award, and Nate Almanzar, a mentor at Hope, received the TAAE Friend of Alternative Education Award, district officials reported during the June 16 board meeting.
