Board approves personnel items including classified pay updates and Weston principal appointment

The Greenfield-Central School Board approved personnel recommendations that included classified pay-scale raises, handbook amendments and several certified and classified personnel actions. The board also approved the appointment of Scott Miller as the new principal of Weston Elementary School.

Classified handbook and raises: Administrators presented proposed raises for classified staff, covering hourly increases for bus drivers, preschool-related arts instructors, school safety officers, building administrative support and selected food-service positions. Personnel approvals: The board approved a personnel report that included leave requests, certified hires (for example, Sophie Duncan, Abigail Leland and others listed in the packet), resignations and extra-curricular appointment recommendations for the 2025-26 school year. Principal appointment: The board approved Scott Miller to serve as principal of Weston Elementary School following a recommendation from district administration. The motion passed unanimously.
