Ward County approves multiple subdivision plats, special-use permits and a variance

At its July 1 meeting the Ward County Commission approved several subdivision plats and special-use permits brought forward by planning staff. The commission approved the Subdivision Plat and Special-Use Permit for Lake Life North Addition, Lake Life North 2nd Addition and Lake Life North 3rd Addition from Dig This Rentals, LLC based on findings of fact and staff recommendations. Sean Weeks of Ackerman-Estvold answered commissioners’ questions about setbacks for a proposed fueling station related to one application. The commission also approved a variance for Arlene Eslinger, citing topography changes due to flooding as the identified hardship, and approved outlot plats for Adam Undlin, Larry Goettle, Lori McKay and Darla Otteson. All motions were moved and seconded as recorded in the meeting minutes and passed by roll call vote with Commissioners Rostad, Merritt, Olson, Schuler and Chair Fjeldahl voting yes.
