Mason County Board of Health seeks applicants; reserved seat for Skokomish Tribe

David Windham of Mason County Public Health and Human Services told the board on Sept. 2 that the Mason County Board of Health is recruiting applicants to fill several vacancies. The announcement said one position is reserved for a member of the Skokomish Tribe and the board seeks two representatives who self-identify as consumers of public health with lived experience of health inequities or enrollment in programs such as WIC. Public representatives must not be elected officials, must not have fiduciary obligations to health facilities and must not have a material financial interest in providing health services, the announcement said. Windham provided contact information and an online application link for interested applicants.
