Third submittal of Orlando Apopka Commerce Center plat moves through staff review after state-law change

City staff reviewed the third submittal of the Orlando Apopka Commerce Center plat and confirmed the application is proceeding through staff-level review following a change in state law that removed the requirement for planning commission and city council approval.

Amir, the project manager on the plat, explained the submittal reflects industrial future land use and PD zoning and said the current round of comments largely concerns final signatures and a few small details. Staff noted the applicant was present and available to address comments. Community development staff confirmed there are no additional substantive comments at this time. Departmental reviewers (police, public works, fire, building) registered no objections during the DRC review.
