Council adopts electric supply agreement resolution for city facilities

The Gahanna City Council on Tuesday adopted Resolution 0039-2025 authorizing the mayor to enter into an electric supply agreement for city facilities following a pricing analysis and Omnia Partners procurement.

The resolution, described in the meeting as following the recommendation of the city's pricing analysis and Omnia Partners procurement, was moved by Vice President Trenton Weaver and seconded by Councilman Schnetzer. The roll call vote was unanimous: Weaver, Schnetzer, McGregor, Padova, Bowers and Jones voted yes and the resolution was adopted.

City staff read the resolution into the record before the vote. Council did not engage in substantive discussion of contract terms or pricing at the meeting; the action on Sept. 2 authorizes the mayor to execute the agreement and related actions to effectuate it.

This resolution does not include contract text in the meeting record; council members did not request additional public review before adoption at this session.
