Kenilworth superintendent thanks borough for school renovations, invites public to strategic planning

Jeremy Davies, superintendent of the Kenilworth School District, thanked Mayor Karlovich and borough council members for participating in a recent tour of construction projects at David Brearley and other district sites and said the district will be ready for the first day of school on Sept. 8.

Davies praised the interior and exterior work at Braley and Harding, saying the renovated spaces would positively affect students and staff. He also announced the district will begin a five-year strategic planning process this school year and invited community members to the first strategic planning meeting at David Brearley on Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Davies said the district is working to improve test scores and school rankings and asked interested residents and stakeholders to reach out to district staff to participate in the strategic planning process. He thanked the borough and the Board of Education for their support of the projects and confirmed district staff will be “fully ready” for the Sept. 8 school start date.
