The Committee on Accounts, Enrollment, Revenue Administration of the Manchester Board Mayor & Aldermen on July 1 accepted an accounts-receivable report after staff clarified a recent payment and interest on an outstanding account.
Committee Chair Terrio called the meeting to order and the committee reviewed a line-item for “3 Kitchens,” where staff confirmed a $1,000 payment had been received and that $7.85 represented the interest portion. Finance staff also reported the current principal balance on that account as $4,005.87.
The clarification came during discussion of routine receivables. After the explanation, Alderman Tony Sapienza moved to accept the report; Alderman Vincent seconded the motion. The committee voted in favor with the chair announcing, “The ayes have it.”
The committee did not request additional follow-up on the specific account beyond the clarification and recorded the acceptance as part of the committee minutes.
The acceptance of the accounts-receivable report completed the item and the committee proceeded to the next agenda item.
