The Town of Babylon board on Sept. 9, 2025 approved a large batch of license renewals by affidavit, approved two affidavits of transfer, confirmed one reserve‑calendar application, accepted prior meeting minutes and adjourned to its next meeting in September.
Board members moved through a numbered list of renewals by affidavit (items numbered 1 through 34) and approved them by voice vote. Individual motions to approve the renewals were made and seconded by various board members; the chair called the ayes for each. Examples of renewals called included properties on East Merritt Street, Herzl Boulevard, Lexington Avenue and others across villages in the board’s jurisdiction.
The board approved two affidavits of transfer: an item listed for 915 North Broom Avenue (Katanowski) and one for 414 Venetian Boulevard (Lo High/Load High), each carried by motion and second. A reserve calendar matter called forward — listed at 66 Toysoom Lane in Deer Park — was moved by Carolyn and seconded by Stephanie and approved by voice vote.
The board also voted to accept the minutes of Aug. 5, 2025 and Aug. 19, 2025. At the close of the meeting, a motion to adjourn carried; the chair indicated the next meeting would be in September.
These approvals keep existing affidavits, transfers and the reserve item in procedural good order and place the previously discussed accessory-apartment application (21 Silver Pine Drive) on reserve for separate follow-up.
