Council authorizes lease with Ellis County Women
s Building board and approves quit deed for 0.224-acre lot

Following executive-session deliberations, the Waxahachie City Council took two public actions: it authorized the interim city manager to execute a lease agreement with the Board of Trustees of the Ellis County Women
s Building, and it authorized the mayor to execute a quit deed for a 0.224-acre parcel identified by Ellis Central Appraisal District ID number 175739.

Councilmember motions to authorize the interim city manager to execute the lease and to authorize the mayor to sign the quit deed were both moved and seconded; each motion carried on a voice vote.
