Board recognizes Galt 8U all‑stars and hears McCaffrey FFA end‑of‑year update

Trustees recognized the Galt Youth Baseball 8‑and‑under all‑star team and coaches after the team advanced to the Cal Ripken World Series in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Coach Richard Savage told trustees the parents and community raised “a little over $40,000 in 3 weeks” to send 12 players and one parent per player; he said the community fundraisers and a GoFundMe were essential to cover travel costs.
